Pinoy Power

My country,  has been struck not by a storm, but just by some SOAB monsoon that made us felt were a mere mortal. A heavy continuous rain fell on august 7 2012 Philippine time. It's just like 3 years ago when a s storm locally name Ondoy struck us pinoys. Almost major cities in the country and some provinces  was drowned by this SOAB bad weather like a bad hair day. I took a shot and film of the flooded buildings in Pasig City, Philippines to show you what it really look like to be in a mess. There are a lot of heroes and scumbags, advantages and disadvantages in a situation like this. The infamous boat ride or local "RoRo" (roll on, roll off), is currently the alternative means of transformation not just in this city, but also to other place were water is their new bestfriend. Because they see it everyday from sunrise to sunset. Because it's flood. The RoRo ride ranges from 20 pesos to 100+ pesos depending on the range of the trip, or your trip.

1 to 4 persons or plus more can ride the RoRo to get to their destination unwet. You don't wanna swim in this water i tell you, cause in a country like this, you will get sick by a killer deceased from rat's piss in the water called leptospirosis which is very deadly cause it affects the kidney and liver and you might be dead just a couple of weeks if unchecked. The photos shows the government buildings of Pasig City, a nearby chapel and a school. The Public market didn't escape the wrath of nature and was moved to  a nearby lot near the cities cathedral. But it was put back to it's former place 2 days after it has been moved because the water has gone sooner that it did 3 years ago. Photos shows that the public market is still flooded but it's now only  20 inch deep unlike before that is much deeper. Things like this crap happens to us Filipinos that makes us stubborn. Strongly stubborn, what i mean. But, what the hell! That's why we're pinoys! We are very famous from our fighting spirit that never dies. We just hope that we can still make it as long our spirit lives.
